It’s not uncommon for many of us to have dreams that once consumed our minds, keeping us awake at night, pondering fervently, yet were never realized.

One might inquire: what becomes of those dreams?

Well, they become entangled in a metaphorical pipeline, a repository of unfulfilled aspirations that we often convince ourselves is merely a temporary holding place.

But as the years pass, the dreams continue to gather dust, neglected and unrealized.

I, too, have a few dreams that have been in the pipeline for far too long, and for the life of me, I couldn’t comprehend why their realization continually eluded me.

Even though I possessed an understanding of how to actualize my dreams through planning and execution, the question remained: Why are some of my dreams still clogging up the pipes?

In a moment of introspection, seeking answers to this lingering question that haunted me, I turned to higher sources for guidance—my guardian angels.

With a heartfelt request, I sought insight on how to turn my dreams into reality.

And over the course of a year, since I posed this question, I encountered two profound books that seemed to hold the answers I was looking for.

The first book that crossed my path was “The Power of Awareness” by Neville Goddard, a renowned author and mystic.

Within its pages, Neville introduces us to the law of assumption, a principle that suggests we can shape our reality by assuming the feeling of already possessing what we desire.

By embodying the sensation of already having our desires fulfilled, we emit a positive vibration that attracts those desires towards us.

You might wonder, “How can I manufacture the feeling of having something I don’t yet possess?”

Well, we humans have the unique gift of imagination.

Since our subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between what’s real and imaginary, it will assume what you’re continuously imagining is real.

And by holding this assumption, the events and circumstances in your external world will shift to harmonize with your mental images.

A friend shared with me a compelling story that perfectly illustrates the magic of this principle: her cousin, aspiring for an international job, stumbled upon a suitcase in her closet.

Assuming she had secured the position, she excitedly packed the suitcase with clothes, just as she would if the job were hers.

And as you might have guessed, the subsequent circumstances in her life turned that assumption into reality—she landed the international job.

This story underscores the potency of the law of assumption: our thoughts and feelings create vibrations that interact with matching vibrations in the energetic field, materializing our focused desires into reality.

However, I fully grasped Neville’s teachings only after reading the second book, “Reality Transurfing,” written by Vadim Zeland, a Russian physicist.

Zeland elucidates the process of actualizing dreams in two steps:

1. Through the Intention to Have:

To clarify, the intention to have differs from mere desire.

More often than not, desire arises from dissatisfaction with the present and can prove counterproductive.

For instance, longing for a vacation often signifies a desire to escape current circumstances.

Similarly, desiring a partner may reflect feelings of inadequacy in being single, leading to potential suffering and the emission of negative frequencies that perpetuate a sense of lack.

However, to manifest the life of your dreams, you must decisively choose to have it.

This entails making a clear decision without any reservations—to become the person you aspire to be.

This philosophy aligns with Neville’s advice to live in the assumption of the wish fulfilled.

When you intend to have, you inhabit a state where all your desires are fulfilled, leaving no room for further longing.

It’s as if everything you wish for is already within your grasp.

This intention is devoid of doubt and fosters a resolute determination to materialize that which is already yours, empowering you to move forward with unwavering confidence.

2. Through the Intention to Act:

This step is straightforward, though we often complicate it with elaborate plans.

Instead of overcomplicating, we should focus on one thing at a time.

A friend introduced me to a quote by Abraham Hicks that goes: “It’s as easy to manifest a castle as it is a button.”

This simple yet profound statement shifted my perspective on goal achievement.

Firstly, it dispels the myth of scarcity, affirming that all desires, regardless of magnitude, are within our grasp.

Secondly, and most importantly, it underscores how we often assign varying levels of importance to our desires, mistakenly believing that some goals necessitate tremendous effort.

This misconception can hinder our ability to readily engage with our aspirations.

In reality, all it takes is action; action is the linchpin that transforms dreams into reality.

When you have decided that a dream is yours through the intention to have it, all that is left is to move towards it like one would move to a newspaper stand to buy a newspaper once they have decided they want one.

Just place one foot in front of the other—step by step until that newspaper is in your hands.

The Great Wall of China was built one brick at a time, and so were the pyramids of Giza. Yet, they are all wonders of the world.

Actionable takeaway:

“The Power of Awareness” and “Reality Transurfing” have profoundly altered my understanding of how dreams manifest into reality.

To distill their wisdom into actionable steps for realizing your dreams, you must leverage the law of assumption by assuming the feeling of your wishes fulfilled.

Begin by creating a list of all the dreams you once had but pushed into the recesses of your mind because you had no idea how to actualize them.

Then, imagine yourself living out these dreams, truly immersing yourself in the feelings you would experience if they were realized.

Engage in this imaginative exercise every night just before falling asleep. Alternatively, you can do so during a nap just after having a heavy meal.

The goal is to impress upon your subconscious mind the image of you living out your dream so frequently that it begins to feel like a reality even in waking life.

And it’s during these moments that your subconscious mind is more susceptible to suggestions.

Next, firmly decide that your dream is already yours through the intention to have.

Cultivate an overwhelming conviction that whatever you desire is already on your path, and all you need to do is move towards it through the intention to act.

This is how you will transform your dreams from mere pipe dreams into tangible manifestations of your reality.
